LED emitter for Scania ceiling lamp

Powerful set of LED light sources replacing the original bulbs in the ceiling lamps of all newer Scania trucks. The lamp primarily provides neutral white reading light and a colored cabin light.

It is a complete set, both for left and right ceiling light.

Neutral white / red

The red cabin light comes from 6 powerful LEDs that provide a nice light throughout the cabin, and it dims together with all the other red lighting in the cabin.

Everything connects via the attached connector. It is pure plug-and-play, and you do not need to cut or splice any wires. The reading light also uses 6 powerful LEDs that provide a neutral white light. Both lights can be turned on at the same time.

Neutral white / RGB

The cabin light comes from a total of 12 powerful LEDs that provide a nice light. The cabin light connects to a standard RGB controller, where you can choose colors and adjust brightness.

It is controlled exclusively with a remote control and not through the truck’s functions. There are 4 colored wires that must be connected normally to the controller: red, green, and blue to negative, and grey to common positive.

The reading light connects via the attached connector. It is pure plug-and-play, and you do not need to cut or splice any wires here either. The reading light uses 6 powerful LEDs that provide a neutral white light. Both lights can be turned on at the same time.

Mounting

Installation is quite simple, as the original back is removed and the new light sources are clicked into place. Notice that there are differences between left and right, so check that you mount them on the correct side.

A plug 'n' play connector is installed, allowing it to fit directly into the original. This way, you avoid cutting and splicing wires and get an extremely simple solution.

Note that we recommend removing the silver reflector in the reading lamp section. The reflector is fixed by slightly twisted legs. Turn them back and pull the reflector out.
